Taking screenshots has become a simple task nowadays. Instead of hitting the PrintScreen key, going to an editor, pasting the image and saving it on the hard drive, now you can just click a button and your screenshot will be ready. A good example is Floomby, which makes taking snapshots as easy as possible. You just hit a hotkey and the application will generate a screenshot instantly.

The application can be used on any modern Windows operating system, without any compatibility issues. It comes in a small package and it can be installed in under a minute, without making any complicated settings. There are no special requirements you have to meet and you don't need to sacrifice too many resources.

When launched, the application will display its tabbed configuration panel. Here you can make a few simple output settings, like selecting a format or deciding what to do with the snapshots once taken. The application can send it directly to the clipboard or it can upload it to a server and copy a link to it to the clipboard. Additionally, you can set it to save a copy on the hard drive, regardless of which option you choose.

Taking a snapshot can be done on the fly, by hitting the PrintScreen key or a combination of keys. As previously suggested, the application will immediately save the image to the clipboard or upload it to a server. If you upload it to a server, your image will show up immediately on your default web browser, along with a download option. At this point, you can send the link to that image to someone, if you wish to share something on your screen.

The application supports several snapshot methods. You can choose to capture the entire screen, but you can also capture a selected area or an active window. Of course, you can set different hotkeys for each type of snapshot.
